auf welchem Server bist du? Index-Berechtigungen für die Datenbanken kann dir nur webhoster geben.

PS.: safe_mode kannst du im Confixx unter httpd-Spezial auf off setzen.

Ich versuche gerade auf meiner Domain MediaWiki zu installieren, und die Installation schlägt fehl mit der Meldung:

Query "CREATE UNIQUE INDEX user_name ON `sw_user` (user_name) " failed with error code "INDEX command denied to user 'web896'@'localhost' for table 'sw_user' (localhost)".

Der Fehler ist soweit klar, ich kann keine UNIQUE INDEX anlegen. Nun stellt sich mir die Frage warum, und wie es zu beheben ist.
